Role Description:

You will complete a 4 year Apprenticeship in Plant and Construction delivered through the CITB scheme. This will involve working on Mechanical/Electrical/Hydraulic Handling Equipment and work will be carried out on customer’s premises and at Briggs workshop locations nationally.

On completion of the apprenticeship framework you will be qualified to maintain, service and repair a variety of Mechanical Handling Equipment; this will be completed with the support of the training department and a dedicated mentor.

  • 3 GCSEs at grade D or above in English and Science. Mathematics preferred but not essential
  • Willingness to learn, adapt and a positive attitude at all times is key to success
  • Enthusiasm for all things mechanical and electrical, demonstration of this experience is beneficial
  • A basic knowledge of the principals of health and safety is essential.
Apprentice – starting salary £12,000 with progression each year
