Briggs Superbike at Northern Ireland launch

April 11, 2016 by David Turner

In anticipation for the British Superbikes and North West 200 races, the Briggs Equipment site in Northern Ireland hosted an exclusive viewing of this year’s Briggs Bike on Friday 25th March 2016.

The event took place at the site in Mallusk in the build up to the North West 200 races which will take place in May 2016.

Customers were invited to attend to view the bike and meet the Briggs Equipment rider for this year, Alastair Seeley. Alastair will be racing in all the BSB races as well as the North West 200.

As part of the continued sponsorship by Briggs, the race bike features prominent branding of the logo which customers were able to see during the event. Alastair Seeley also took part in a short interview with the team, in which he talked about his excitement for the up and coming races, and going for the record at the North West 200 this year! A meet and greet with the customers allowed them to pose for photographs, get autographs and talk to Alastair about the racing season ahead.

General Manger of Briggs Northern Ireland, Andrew Neill, stated “having the Briggs bike on site was an excellent opportunity for staff and customers to see the Briggs bike before the North West 200 in May, which is always such a huge event for Northern Ireland. It was also great for those attending to meet with Alastair Seeley, a local rider this year from Carrickfergus. We wish Alastair good luck for both the North West 200 and all the BSB races this year.”

The opening race of the 2016 MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship was at Silverstone on April 10th, with the North West 200 taking place 8th-14th May 2016.
