Field Service Engineer

Locations:

Role Description

Field Engineers are expected to maximise the operational availability for our customers by investigating, understanding and eliminating failed/faulty operation of those products to ensure the fix is as rapid and cost effective as possible while ensuring continued safe and effective operation.

Requirements

Previous experience within one of the following sectors; motor vehicles, construction plant, HGV’s, agricultural, powered access or related machinery as well as a Level 3 Diploma in Lift Truck Maintenance and Repair (VRQ/VCQ) or equivalent. We also expect our Engineers to be IT literate.

Regional Sales Executive

Role Description

To generate sales of new equipment to both customers and prospects within a designated territory maximising share of wallet and profitability. Responsible for maintaining and building a database of potential customers within the region.

Requirements

Direct sales experience, ideally capital goods equipment or logistics, preferably within the Materials Handling sector. The ability to work alone with strong customer facing skills and the ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.

Service Manager

Location: Scotland

Role Description

To successfully manage, motivate and develop the engineering team to ensure individual team members are able to deliver customer excellence. To own the day-to-day operational customer relationship to ensure the highest level of service delivery to develop and promote loyalty to Briggs. Optimize the productivity of the engineering workforce to achieve or surpass business targets (including First Time Fix rate, repeat breakdowns, VOR breakdown run rate and parts return % of parts ordered).

Requirements

Previous experience within managing a remote engineering workforce is desirable, must have excellent communication IT and leadership skills. The successful candidate will have high levels of commercial awareness and customer service.

Service Controller

Role Description

To be accountable and responsible for the scheduling and control of workload for all Field & Resident engineer’s activities to optimize productivity and effectiveness on a daily basis.
